Modelled on its Bonneville sister but with a higher piston compression the Thruxton’s 865cc parallel twin packs plenty of punch and torque for most riders.
I have just purchased a very clean and lightly used, just 250 klm's on the clock, 2010 Thruxton Special Edition – which I believe is one of only 12 imported into Australia and 589 worldwide. It has as unique paint scheme with red stripe that runs from front to tail, red powder coated frame, a bikini fairing, low-rise clip-on bars with bar end mirrors, and a seat cowling which all add to the retro styling and make it, in my opinion one of the prettiest machines on the road. The bike certainly attracts attention and seems to be a conversation starter just as my retro styled X100F does. perhaps I'm living in the wrong era!
The X100F is an ideal camera to take when riding a motorcycle as it can be slipped into your jacket pocket very easily and is lightweight.
